What’s The Best Way To Mop My Floor?
After over a century of making the best products for mopping dirty floors, we’ve picked
up a thing or two on how to get the most out of your cleaning experience. Here’s how:
1.
Before you start, clear everything out of the way, so you have access to every part of your floor. Our mop system also makes it easy to simply mop high traffic areas and
between furniture.
2.
It may feel overdone, but sweep up the loose particles of grit, dirt and hair before you mop. This means you don't end up pushing dirt and debris around when
mopping.
3.
Warm water is more effective
at picking up dirt than cold water (but don't use very hot or boiling water as this can damage
flooring).
4.
Don't soak your floors: there can
be too much of a good thing!
Wring your mop out as much as
you can before each mop and give the bucket a good rinsing when
the water begins to look murky or
muddy.
Strong and Effective Wood Cleaner.
The container can make up to 24 gallons of cleaning liquid. You only need to add two tablespoons of Fuller's Wood Cleaner per gallon of water. To me, this means I will not have to buy wood cleaner for a long time. I am thrilled with the look of the wood after using this cleaner.

How Often Should I Replace My Mop Head?
To prevent the build-up of dirt and bacteria in the mop head, depending on usage, we recommend you replace your mop head every three to six months. If you let the mop head dry thoroughly and store it in a dry place, it'll help increase its lifespan. By using our quick-drying spinner, your mop head will stay fresher longer than other leading brands, so you can maximize the life and usage of the mop head.
